Today I completed my latest proofread for Pen & Sword Books, this being a manuscript entitled Manned and Unmanned Flights to the Moon. Written by author Terry C. Treadwell, the story was an overview of what was known as the ‘Space Race’, happening from the mid-1950s onwards between America and Russia. I found this a most interesting read. My own knowledge of the subject in question is not great; however, I found the story most informative, not too technical, but easy to pick up and follow. Some stunning photographs accompany the informative text – a most interesting and entertaining read.
