Return to Wales (Part One)

My recent proofreading activity has been made up of a series of railway projects on a number of different, related subjects. The first of these was a pictorial survey of the railways past and present in the Whitland to Pembroke part of Wales. The author was John Hodge, a career railwayman who, over a period of some twenty years, has written a series of books about the railways in this area. The new book was entitled ‘Whitland to Pembroke Dock’, and was made up of the relevant written historical information, accompanied by a treasure trove of pictures both from the steam era and right up to the present, with one of the latest GWR Hitachi trains bringing the book to a fitting conclusion.
