A recent proofreading project which I undertook for Pen & Sword Books was a manuscript entitled Cambus to Stagecoast East, a semi-pictorial look at the history of what had been the Eastern National Bus Company following bus deregulation in 1985. In 2020 I did a similar proofreading exercise on Volume 1 of this story, written by David Beddall and covering the story of bus companies in the area concerned from 1921 to 1985. The latter work focused mainly on Peterborough and Cambridge, plus the surrounding areas, the companies concerned including Viscount, Cambus and the later Stagecoach East. A superb miscellany of photographs complimented the respective chapters, taking the story to the present day. A worthy companion to the first volume.
